LenyMobile OS and the myLeny apps follow the strategy of protecting you from unwanted data leakage. The same considerations underlie all pre-installed third-party apps, which as a bundle cover a wide range of everyday applications from the messenger to backing up your photos.

Of course, you are completely free to choose your apps. When installing them, we simply ask you to inform yourself in advance about their handling of your data. You can find this information through the app info in the myLeny Store (rights, handling of data) as well as through your own research on the internet. For example, it will be necessary to grant certain rights to apps of public transport companies, such as "real" location access.

In addition to data security and privacy, LenyMobile OS is designed for compatibility with Android apps. However, it cannot be ruled out that an app that uses unusual and/or outdated procedures will not run on LenyMobile OS or will only run with special expert settings that you can configure.
