Data protection with myLeny®: The Concept

We are convinced that protecting your privacy and control over your personal data is your absolute right. The myLeny® ecosystem aims to provide you with optimal support in your Digital Self-Determination. Your LenyMobile® and NesCHt® help you maintain your safety, anonymity, and self-determination.

LenyMobile OS and the myLeny apps protect you from unwanted data leaks. The pre-installed third-party apps follow the same philosophy. The app package already includes a variety of everyday applications, from messaging to backing up your photos. Of course, you are completely free to choose your apps.

LenyMobile®

Based on high-quality, market-up-to-date devices, equipped with the decryption-resistant operating system LenyMobile OS.

LenyMobile OS is a mobile operating system focused on privacy and security with the widest Android app compatibility.

• myLeny Privacy helps the customer to comfortably select their location (GPS and Internet protocol) virtually and keep track of the security settings (Digital Sovereignty).
• The implementation ensures that Google® apps can be used without any unwanted data leakage (Digital Integrity).
• Communication between the mobile and the internet is encrypted and anonymous until the first contact point on the internet (e.g. a website, a mail server, etc. - Anonymous Surfing). To avoid restrictions on Internet access, the customer can select their own virtual location. Internet usage is not recorded (Digital Sovereignty).
• The mobile subscription and/or Wi-Fi access can be freely chosen by the customer and is not part of myLeny.
• LenyMobile will be supported by Lenotra with operating system updates and security updates for the same length of time as the same device type from the original manufacturer (Android Phone Security).
• Warranty claims within the 2-year device warranty are handled directly through Lenotra AG.
• myLeny Store – The app store for LenyMobile; open source with anonymous access to all apps from Google Play® (Android without Google services), only during the purchase of an app must a login to Google Play® Services be made (Digital Sovereignty).

NesCHt®

Based on Nextcloud® technology, myLeny customers have access to a highly secure storage service in certified data center in Switzerland🇨🇭 with the ability to edit documents online and more (Digital Sovereignty).

The data from LenyMobile is synchronized with NesCHt and can be viewed online by the customer, partially edited, and further synchronized to any device (mobile phones, tablets, PCs, etc.) {1}. All data traffic is encrypted (Digital Self-Determination).

Purchase and subscription principles

• LenyMobile and NesCHt, as well as the myLeny security package, are initially purchased together. {2}
• Upon the purchase{3} of a myLeny, the LenyMobile becomes the property of the customer. Shipping is from Switzerland.
• As soon as a customer has acquired the use of a NesCHt, multiple LenyMobile can be acquired and used together with it.

Initially, purchasing a myLeny comes with a 12- or 24-month subscription for:

• Operating system, security, app updates, and licenses for LenyMobile
• Using NesCHt with the base storage quota (or optionally increased quota) as well as functional-, security-, app-updates, and licenses
• Licenses to use encrypted, anonymous internet communication acquired.
• The subscription can be extended online at any time.
• The subscription for additional LenyMobile can be extended independently at any time.
• The basic storage quota or the already increased storage quota in NesCHt can be increased online at any time for the remaining subscription period.
